SAML 2.0 Registry is the new big thing. A lot of people have requested to be able to edit metadata in a web frontend. Much will happen in this area this summer.
Wayf.dk is working on a fancy system with revision and work flow handling.
Yesterday I went to Copenhagen to discuss SAML 2.0 Registry with Wayf.dk, and I presented the ideas that I had of how things could be done. I also saw the module that Wayf.dk is working on. Today I tried to convert my ideas to code, and commited a very simple module that works as a basic registry for SAML 2.0 SP remote for an IdP, and I installed the registry at Feide OpenIdP. The code is available in trunk as a module named
metaedit. If you want to test it, ask me for intructions via the mailinglist.
From now on, you can edit your own metadata entries on Feide OpenIdP here:
Please give us feedback on how you would like a SAML 2.0 Registry. This is just a mockup as an early idea.
