During the GNOMIS meeting discussing Kalmar technical solutions, we decided to drop the bridges and run SAML2.0 flat out. A participating federation may still decide to run a Shibboleth 1.3 to SAML2.0 bridge, but that is a local matter.
Metadata distribution is still work in progress, given the multi-platform environment of Kalmar eIdentity.
